Roman Theatre

Roman theatre, built by squared blocks made of calcareous stone formed by ashlar. It has two orders of arches: the lower order remains standing and also some arches corresponding to the upper gallery. There are remains of “opus reticulatum” in the corridors of the vomitoria. The cavea is divided into four wedges and the bands with no steps, probably accommodated wooden stairs.

Near the theater, there is an Antiquarium, which stands on Roman structures and holds archaeological finds from prehistoric times to late antiquity. Nearby the theater, there is also the archaeological area of Guastuglia, where it is possible to admire a portion of a roman domus with its mosaic floors.
